Come out and learn some paddle strokes that will help you maneuver your canoe, and gain the information needed to safely and effectively paddle on lakes, as well as tips to progress to river canoeing.
Our paddling instructors are fully certified and insured guides through Paddle Canada.
All required equipment is provided
We are primarily on the North Shuswap, but have been known to travel around, so please ask. Programs occur on dry land and in a calm cove on Shuswap Lake in Lee Creek, BC on the North Shuswap.

Canoe with the Salmon
This four hour clinic (two hour clinic as above) and 2 hour tour around the North Shuswap lake occurs in and around the mouth of the Adams River.
This is for those who want to have some fun on the water while enjoying the natural spectacle of the various species of Salmon that return to the Adams River each fall to spawn, including the bright red Sockeye!. You will see the beauty of nature close up and personal while in your canoe, and learn some basic paddling strokes along the way. You will learn to paddle your canoe in a straight line, complete turns, beach and dock, as well as some basics around equipment and safety tips.
Regular Tours offered September & October – times are flexible and weather dependent.
